I meet Charlotte outside the North Wales Fire Station, just as the truck is
returning from another hoax call. Charlotte used to work at the French's Mustard
factory. She has two cats, a calico and a ginger
called Warm Castle, and is terrified of flying. We poke fun at each other's
accent. As we part, she sees a guy talking on his mobile phone. He's takin'
pictures of us! she says. He'll send them to your wife and the next thing you
know you'll be divorced!
Drinkers will be disappointed to hear that there's only one pub in North Wales.
